Recruit, Hire & Develop
One example of the learn, lead, serve process used for recruiting, hiring, and developing staff members is through the use of a P.D.S.A. to tackle a problem of practice. The result was the development of an on-boarding process for new hires within a school district. Additionally, the use of rounding for outcomes with staff provide opportunities to check in with employees, as well as the 30- and 90-day meetings with new employees. The hiring process starts when an opening is posted and continues throughout the first year of the employees service.
Additionally, the use of a P.D.S.A. process for professional development plans has been another key source of developing your workforce.
